Katie Feins

Katie received her BS in Nursing from Syracuse University. Upon graduation, she began her nursing career at Boston Medical Center, and later took a staff position at MGH in the Cardiac Surgery ICU. Katie has remained in this role for the past 16 years.

Katie was first introduced to barre during a weekend at Kripalu. Having been an athlete growing up playing varsity soccer and lacrosse and a competitive dancer for 10 years, barre was the perfect match to challenge Katie both physically and mentally while merging her passion for health and fitness. In 2010 she was certified in Exhale Core Fusion classes, where she taught for 5 years.

When Katie isn’t at the hospital, she can be found coaching her 5-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter on the soccer field or driving to dance and hockey practice. Amidst the everyday chaos of being a mom and wife, Katie always has found barre to be the way to a calm mind and strong body.
